U.S. CrossFit was started as a division of U.S. Tactical, an Encinitas company started in 2001 to trains and equips professionals, athletes and military members for top performance.  U.S. Tactical specializes in developing cutting edge fitness and performance products utilized by elite special ops forces, and brings these training concepts and tools to market.

The opening of the Encinitas Training Center was initially done under the name U.S. Tactical CrossFit. The CrossFit and military community still know us by that name. To simplify things for the local Encinitas community, we dropped the “Tactical” to avoid confusing us as a military or law-enforcement training center. We are not…we train civilians, but welcome military, law-enforcement and First Responders, and are particularly well suited to train these communities. 

The US CrossFit Center is for everyone who is serious about fitness.  The primary focus is a dynamic training program called “CrossFit.”  CrossFit is an exercise regimen of constantly varied, functional movements done at high intensity.   CrossFit is used by world class strength and conditioning programs, as well as the U.S. Navy SEALs, U.S. Marine Corps and many first responder academies.

U.S Tactical also runs the popular web community NavySEALs.com (NSC). NSC is populare with SEAL candidates and athletes who seek knowledge of the unique training styles and mind-set of this elite warrior class. We donate 7.5% of net profit from NavySEALs.com to the Naval Special Warfare Foundation, a non-profit that supports families of fallen Navy SEALs.  Other support goes to the Sierra Club, Navy SEAL Museum and National Outdoor Leadership School.
